SM Book Nook Book Donation Drive Now Ongoing at SM City Puerto Princesa


PUERTO PRINCESA CITY — In celebration of SM Supermalls’ 40th anniversary, SM City Puerto Princesa has officially launched the SM Book Nook Book Donation Drive, aiming to help foster a love for reading while supporting community libraries across the country.

The drop-off point for the donation drive is conveniently located at the mall’s main entrance, right beside Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, making it easy for shoppers and book lovers to participate.

As part of a nationwide initiative, the campaign targets the collection of over 40,000 books to be donated to the National Library of the Philippines and various community libraries. The donation drive is ongoing at all SM malls across the country.

Books of various genres are welcome, particularly those that fall under three main categories:

• Books for Learning – such as encyclopedias, academic references, and business books
• Books for Growing – including self-help titles, cookbooks, and photography books
• Books for Inspiring – like children’s storybooks and picture books

The SM Book Nook, a community library located within the mall, will serve as a new home for many of these donated books, giving them a renewed purpose and reaching more readers.

SM City Puerto Princesa invites everyone to take part in this meaningful effort and help keep the pages turning for generations to come.
